The New Community Coalition Becomes EcoAction Partners

TNCC was formed in 2007 to further sustainability efforts in this region. In 2012 we are focussing on energy, zero waste and localizing our food supply. We are launching EcoAction Partners with a New Website that is easier to navigate with our program areas of focus, revitalized programs like our EcoAction Initiative working with the community to reduce carbon footprints, the Zero Waste Task force assembled to enhance recycling and compost initiatives in the region, many exciting developments in the local food front, and many of the same familiar programming. For questions/comments/feedback etc. don't hesitate to contact us at info@ecoactionpartners.org.

Our progress depends on YOU, your friends, neighbors, businesses, visitors... all taking action - and WE are your partners in change.

EcoAction Energy Tips for April: April Showers Bring May Flowers - Here are some water saving tips to conserve water for the upcoming summer months

  • When washing dishes by hand, don't let the water run while rinsing. Fill one sink with wash water and the other with rinse water.
  • Use a broom instead of a hose to clean your driveway and sidewalk and save water every time.
  • Shorten your shower by a minute or two and you'll sav up to 150 gallons/month
