Large items are tough to recycle in this region - BUT - IT CAN BE DONE!

For usable items in good conditions - consider joining the Telluride Freecycle group! This is an online group where you can post both requests for items you might need and items you have that you are willing to give away. Click here to join Telluride Freecycle

This service was developed by folks with the goal of keeping items out of the landfill. So everything must be FREE.

Our local trash service providcers - Bruin Waste and Waste Management may also offer pick up of large items. You can see their rates for TELLURIDE below. If you don't live in Telluride, contact them for specific information on what you've got to get rid of and the cost to do so. 

And if you are patient you can hold onto large items and bring them to the annual Spring Clean up that happens in mid-May.
